Green Award 2011

Here is our "hand" to which we can hold on and look for the right direction - it is our award as "Latvia's Greenest Company" in 2011 Top Companies Chart organized by business newspaper "Lietiska Diena" and PR agency "Nords Porter Novelli".

During the process of listing the top companies according to their reputation, the respondents were also asked to name those that they perceive as the "greenest". This year the leader of this list was MÁDARA Cosmetics, which received the "Green award" by Latvian Green Point." This is the second time we receive this title and are very glad that our faith in green lifestyle has resulted in positive response from society.

"Top Reputation Chart" brought us more than one surprise. MÁDARA founder Lotte Tisenkopfa-Iltnere places as 5th in the category "Latvia's best businessmen". "In the survey, the representatives from media as well as society had to evaluate 30 managers which were chosen, based on their publicity in media and popularity out of a sample of 150 company managers." Also in the overall reputation top MÁDARA Cosmetics has jumped from 73rd place in 2010 to 55th in 2011.
