Summer Make Up : How to wear tinting moisturisers - by Anita Naik

If the heat is playing havoc with your make up it's probably a case of less is more. As in less foundation and more tinted moisturiser!

Aside from not sliding down your face by midday, tinted moisturisers are fantastic beacuse while they give you less coverage than foundation they do keep your skin dewy in the heat.

Madara decoface sun flower tinting moisturiser £23.00 - This is a fabulous tinted moisturiser that smells gorgeous and smoothes on like a dream. For paler skin tones try Madara moon flower tinting moisturiser.

Madara Colour and ShineOrganic Shampoo 250ml - £10.50

Tried & Tested

What they say: For coloured and treated hair, MADARA colour and shine organic shampoo has a colour preserving formula that gently cleanses and invigorates treated and coloured hair. This shampoo adds vigour, shine and vibrancy to hair colour.

The Results: The packaging was gorgeous and looked like something I would definitely be drawn to in a shop! The smell and texture of the shampoo was also lovely... it reminded me of having a smoothie for breakfast, it was so refreshing. After using it for a week, I felt my hair was much shinier and brighter. There wasn't a huge amount of lather but I did feel it was getting my hair really clean. It's quite expensive for a day-to-day shampoo but I would use it again as I really think it works - and thesmell was lovely even a day after use.

Best for: Organic fans

Madara flower dust shimmering moisturising lotion

Fower dust lotion is so lush it goes on really well and feels silky afterwards. Theflower dust adds a subtle sheen of glow to any skin tone. I have been trialling this product out on my brids and they all love it. It adds a bit of shimmer to any skin tone. It adds a bit of shimmer to the skin without the yellowness that other products I've used in the past give.

I recommend this product for all skin tones and anyone that wants a bit of light shimmer for their wedding day or night out!

Top tip

"During the summer months try switching from a normal foundation to a tinted moisturiser for a lighter coverage. Choose one that's a shade darker than your own skintone for a sunkissed glow"
