terre d'Oc organic natural skin care - Beauty secreta

Itís a Beautiful World with terre d'Oc Beauty Secrets

Last month, Rosie blogged about her love of terre d'Oc make-up, how she's found the best natural khol, mineral foundation, lipstick and mascara to fill her make-up bag with the ethical brand terre d'Oc. So, this month I'm concentrating on the new skincare ranges terre d'Oc is launching throughout 2012.
There are 5 different body and skincare ranges in total, each one inspired by stories from countries throughout the world: Bali, India, Burkino Faso, Morocco and Japan. To keep things simple, I'm going to concentrate on the Morocco range, not only because this is just fantastic skincare, and I love it, but also because it has such a wonderful story!
The main ingredient in this range is Argan Oil, obviously. It's all we hear about in the beauty press over the last year or so, and it truly does seem to be a wonder oil! The whole skin care range is inspired by 'the legendary beauty secrets of Moroccan women, the Hamman ritual, where well-being and beauty are a true art of living', sounds fabulous! Argan oil is extracted from kernels from the fruit of the Argan tree, which only grows in Morocco. The oil has always been used by Berber tribes to protect and care for their skin, to massage babies, and to use in food recipes. Well, if it's good enough for them ...
I tried 2 products - Gentle Exfoliating Body Soap and Nourishing Body Butter. The terre d'Oc Gentle Exfoliating Body Soap is really good, just the right amount of 'scratchiness' (I'm not sure that is strictly the correct technical term, but you know what I mean). Because the exfoliation is not too harsh I used it every day, and as its packed with argan oil, nourishing shea butter, and orange oil, it has brilliant moisturising properties as well as a lovely 'Moroccan' smell(as you'd expect from a product from the Moroccan range hhhmm). The Nourishing Body Butter is packed with all the same ingredients as the Gentle Exfoliating Body Soap, so also has that fab Moroccan fragrance, but it is also super, super luxurious, and I'd recommend it for times when your skin is feeling extra dry and needs an extra dose of moisture care. The two products work well together. I took both on holiday (ha, thought they could do with a break!), and they definitely helped me get that holiday skin glow.
